Love this book and the whole Mark of the Lion Series.
One of the best books I`ve ever read with a lot of tension, emotions and Christian values. I hope that lots of more people read it!
this book was really really good. it was not only very entertaining - also from a spiritual perspective it touched a lot of issues which are worth thinking about.
I thought I could put down the first one and wait a day or two before starting the second one. Wrong! I waited 30 minutes then dove straight into the lives of Marcus, Julia and Hadassah. Just reading about Hadassah and her strength, faith, and love for her "neighbors" made me desire to have a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. You will cry!
If you want to laugh, cry, have your heart taken out, wrenched dry, and put back better than it ever was before, you simply MUST read this book! I have read many books, but the story of Hadassah touched me as nothing else has-and I read a lot. The way Hadassah trusts in God is something I admire.
I found that this book was even more spirit-filled than the first. Hadassah seemed more like a real person in this book than in the first. Marcus' search for God in Galilee was much like our search for Him today. We think we have to go to great lengths to find Him, and He's so close. I loved this book.
Rivers captures the heart of Christianity and the importance, and poignancy, of our personal search for a relationship with God.
